 Tattoo Aftercare 


1.Take your bandage off after 1 hour, no more than 2.

2.Wash with unscented antibacterial soap and warm water. The first time you wash your new tattoo, you will need to use as hot of water as you can stand (do not scold yourself).

3.Rinse with cool water and pat dry with a clean paper towel.

The first time you wash, let your tattoo air dry for 2-3 hours and then re wash the tattoo following steps 1-3 again.

Any other time you wash your tattoo let it air dry for 20 minutes before applying Aquaphor.

Do Not


Expose to direct sunlight for 2 weeks

Soak in water for 2 weeks

Go swimming in lakes pools spas rivers oceans.


Wash 2 times daily

Apply Aquaphor 2-4 times daily depending on placement.

Blot excess ointment from tattoo.

Switch to unscented lotion after 4-5 days.

Pat or lightly slap to itch.
